Shirley A. Coe 1942 - 2016CLINTON - Shirley A. Coe, 74, formerly of Royal Meadows Drive, died on October 23, 2016, at the Lutheran Care Facility, Clinton.Mrs. Coe was born on August 17, 1942, in Herkimer, a daughter of the late Wesley and Ellen (Satterley) Looman. She received her education in Poland schools. On August 23, 1958, she was united in marriage with Harold L. Coe, Sr. in Dolgeville. The couple resided in North Gage and Shirley first worked as a cook at Trails End Restaurant. She later was employed as a manager of the Middleville KOA and last worked as a manager of Wonder Bread in Whitesboro. Mrs. Coe was a member of St. John's Church in Newport.Survivors, besides her husband of 58 years, Harold, include five children, Harold (Yvonne) Coe, Jr., of Oldsmar, FL, Laurie (Gary) Dougherty, of Clinton, Deborah (Bob) Cannon, of Chiefland, FL, Timothy (Christine) Coe, of the Town of Ohio, and Martin (Susan) Coe, of Floyd; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly Helmer, of Newport, and Kathy (Ralph) Mueller, of Herkimer; a special uncle, Clifford Satterley, of the Town of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Klotz; and a grandson, Austin Coe.A graveside service will take place at St. John's Cemetery, Newport, on Saturday, at 1:00 p.m., with the Rev. Quy N. Vo officiating.
