Shirley Dennis, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on November 20, 2024, in Chicago, Illinois. She was born on July 28, 1953, to proud parents David and Malorie Dennis.

Shirley leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by her two children, Muhammad Johnson and Tiffany Johnson. Her two grandchildren will always hold a special place in their hearts.

Shirley dedicated her life to teaching and positively impacting the lives of countless young minds. She retired in 2020 after a long and fulfilling career.

When she wasn't in the classroom, Shirley could be found indulging in her favorite hobbies of knitting, baking delicious treats, and decorating for lively parties. Her creative spirit and warm personality touched everyone she met.
