Shirley Allene DixonGermantown, TNAllene Dixon was born on August 14th, 1925, in Bruce, Mississippi. She passed on to her heavenly home on January 23rd, 2017, in Germantown, Tennessee. Remaining is her loving husband of 71 years, A.B. Dixon; her devoted daughter, Anita Haines (David); and her dear son, Gary Dixon (Dianne). Best known to her family as our beloved "Nana," she has four grandchildren: David Haines, Jr., Brian Haines (Shannon), Andrew Massie (Rhea), and Jordan Massie (Brad Carter), and is known as "Grape Nana" to her great-grandson, Isaiah Haines. Preceding her in death was her youngest daughter, Paula Massie.At 91 years of age, she outlived her brothers Clexton Eubanks and Harold Eubanks, and her sisters Jewel Stroud and Bobbie Parker, while her sister Inez Smart resides in California. Nana was a most beautiful expression of God's love to all who knew her. She invested her life deeply in her family and church at Berclair, Germantown, and Bellevue Baptist churches. Our memories with her are warm and numerous and will be cherished as we seek to honor our Lord in the manner she so wonderfully modeled.Services are to be held at Memphis Funeral Home, 3700 N.
