Shirley Freeman, 64, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed on April 07, 2023. Shirley was born on September 07, 1958. She lived a very fruitful life. She spent many of her days traveling or caring for other family members. She was a very selfless woman. There wasn't a thing she wouldn't do for anyone if it was in her power. Shirley loved all things glamorous, but remained a very conservative woman. When you came over her house, one would notice how spotless and pristine she kept herself and her dwellings. Her life was spent doing what she loved, and that's loving others. Her feisty spirit will forever be one of our favorite traits bout her. One of her favorite sayings was "The Lord knows my heart, so how you feel really is on you." Shirley's last days were spent surrounded by her immediate family and friends. Her sister, Mary, and her husband, Lorenzo, stayed by her side everyday until her graceful passing. She went in her sleep, as she wished. She was the daughter of Dorphine Freeman and Arthur Freeman Sr. who preceded her in death. She was the sister of Arthur Jr, Charles, Ivory, Bendale and Mary Louise. She is survived by her daughter, Modesty, her granddaughters, Diamond and Tyshaida, and her great grandkids, Faith, Naomi, and Hakeem and a great deal of other relatives and close family. When you remember Shirley, remember her not only for her fighting spirit, but her tenacity, her humor, her love, and her selflessness. You never know when your time will come, so make peace in the now. That's what she did and that's what she would've wanted for everyone she graced her presence with. Remember her for the good she did for each and every last one of us whom lives she touched. Because without her, we would've all been very lost. We love you. Rest in peace.
You can to the family or in memory of Shirley Fitzgerald.
