Shirley Ann HostGALION: Shirley Ann Host, 86 of Galion, passed away at The Kobacker House on November 27, 2016. She was born on February 7, 1930 to the late John W. and Gladys (Bonen) Moore in Galion, OH. Prior to starting a family, she worked as a housekeeper/nanny for Galion families, then worked at North Electric. She then married Richard known 59 years as his "Raven Haired Beauty". She loved being a homemaker, and a full time volunteer minister as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Shirley loved horses, cooking and drawing. Survived by children, Anne E. Mansfield, Cynthia S. Host and Joni B. (Barry) Bartelt; great grandson, Konnar Leigh; siblings, Helen E. Moore, John W. Moore and James F. (Denise) Moore; niece, Susan (Seth) Hazlett; nephews, James (Sarah) Moore, Richard Moore, Gary (Grace) Crawford and Blaine (Angie) Crawford. Preceded in death by husband, Richard E. Host; daughter, Jennifer L. Host; and a sister, Dorothy Crawford. Memorial service will be held at the Galion Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 915 Portland Way N, Galion, OH 44833 on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 1pm until time of service at 2pm with her nephew James Moore officiating.
