DENISON - Shirley Faye Carlene Armon, age 69, of Denison, TX, passed away surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, November 4, 2016, at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, TX. She was born on October 19, 1947 in Paris, AR. Her greatest pride was her family that she loved dearly. She will be missed by all who love her.She retired from Cigna, working as a claim processor. Shirley enjoyed belonging to the Red Hat Society, she was a former Election Judge in Navarro County, she was a member of NARFE and thoroughly enjoyed the Piecemaker's Quilt Guild of Corsicana. She was a member of Oakridge Baptist Church, Denison, TX.She is survived by her children; Lisa Henderson Gardner & husband, Charles of Southaven, MS, Laura Henderson Browder & husband John of Savoy, TX, Nathan Pemberton of Slippery Rock, PA, grandchildren; Jessica & Lauren of Southaven, MS, Jacob & Joshua of Savoy, TX, McKenna of Slippery Rock, PA, her cousin, Linda Parnell Jameson of S.C. , other relatives and a host of friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; Dorothy Parnell O'Bar and Morris O'Bar and her husband; Dennis Armon.A Memorial service will be held Monday, November 7, 2016, 10 a.m. at Oakridge Baptist Church, 5170 E. F.M. 120, Denison, TX 75021. Reverend Sam Garrett will officiate. Family and friends visitation will be Sunday, November 6, 2016, 6 -7:30 at American Funeral Service, 4312 W.
