Bachhuber, Shirley M.Shirley Mae (Scheberl) Bachhuber, 81, of Mayville passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Hope Health and Rehabilitation Assisted Living Center, Lomira, WI.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 28th at 5:30 p.m. at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville, WI with Reverend Allen J. Kramp officiating. Visitation will be at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church from 2 p.m. to the time of service at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28th. Entombment will take place at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Fond du Lac. Shirley was born on March 25, 1936 to Alphonse and Evelyn (Fiegel) Scheberl. Shirley was united in marriage to Peter S. Bachhuber on October 11, 1958 in the parsonage a St. Mary's in Mayville, WI. He preceded her in death in 2014. She was a 1954 graduate of Mayville High School.Shirley was a full-time wife and mother to her children. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting and gardening. She volunteered at St. Mary's School when her children were young. She was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Mayville. She worked at the M&I Bank of Mayville for many years. Shirley and Peter founded Bachhuber Manufacturing Corp in 1983. She continued to help in the office well into her 70s. Shirley loved golfing and especially enjoyed wintering in Florida with Peter for many years. She also liked trap shooting. Shirley is survived by her children, Steven (Jana) Bachhuber of Kekoskee, Sherri (Tony Frinzi) Roskopf of LeRoy, and Christopher (Jackie) Bachhuber of Knowles. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Jeremy (Kelsea) Roskopf of Appleton, Jessica Ripple of Kekoskee, great-grandson Mason Ripple, 3 step-granddaughters - Lisa Schegetz, Kirstyn Droese and Caitlyn Hartwig, their spouses and children. Her sister Arlene Wendler, Slinger, sister-in-law Dorothy Scheberl, Mayville, step sisters Janet (Dennis) Hussli, Mayville, Jane Conniff, Joanne Spiker, both of Denver, CO and step-brother Jerome (Pam) Grosenick of Great Falls, MT.She was proceeded in death by her husband, Peter, her father, mother and step-father Walter Grosenick, brother's Kenneth and Aaron Scheberl, sister-in-law Dottie Scheberl and brother-in-law Glenn Wendler.The family would like to thank the staff at Hope Health & Rehabilitation and Agnesian Hospice for their care and compassion they showed Shirley and her family in her last days.
