Shirley Rosalita Keeling, 76, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 16, 1939, in Bardstown. She was a former employee of Heaven Hill and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Lee and Zita Walker Hill; her sisters, Helen Newport, Bertha Stone and Theresa Bucci; six brothers, Emanuel "Shorty" Hill, Lawrence Hill, Ernie Hill, William Pembliton Hill, Donald Hill and J.C. Hill.; and a granddaughter, Ashley Marie Culver.Survivors include her husband, Roy T. Keeling; two sons, Darrell ( JoAnn) Keeling and Roy (Tracy) Keeling II, both of Taylorsville; two daughters, Vicki (Jamie) Curtsinger, of Bardstown, and Jennifer Lee (Mike) Bass, of Walton; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Louise Fulkerson, of Mount Washington, Pat Brown, of Jeffersonville, Ind., Marilyn Summitt, of Bardstown; and a special niece, Tona Jo Bucci. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto Cathedral with burial in Bardstown Cemetery. The Rev. Jason Harris will be celebrant. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, with prayers at 7 p.m. at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road in Bardstown. Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
