SIDNEY — Shirley F. Valentine, 51 of Sidney, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016, at 11:52 a.m. at Wilson Health.
She was born on Aug. 23, 1965, in Piqua, Ohio, the daughter of Bernice (Branscum) Epperson of Troy and the late Hubert Epperson.
On Feb. 17, 1995, Shirley married John R. Valentine, who survives along with three children, Charlie (Sara Burden and children) Morrison, of Sidney, Tracey (Kyle Grillot) Morrison, of Fort Loramie, and Dylan Valentine, of Sidney; five grandchildren, Madison and Zavier Morrison, Zander, Zayden and Zackry Grillot; six siblings, Hobert (Rhonda) Epperson and Deb (Jay) Schilling, both of Covington, Mike (Rita) Epperson, of Sidney, Martha (Larry) Dulaney, of Oakland, Tennessee, George (Marilyn) Epperson, of Russia, and Sarah (Jason) Coffey, of Stearns, Kentucky; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
She was preceded in death by step-daughter, Tava Dulin.
Shirley took great joy in cooking and caring for her family. She loved spending time with them, especially her grandkids. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 14, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., Sidney, with Pastor Harold Liess officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
