We are saddened to announce the passing of Sidney Perio, who departed this world on November 29, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on May 25, 1953, in Thibodaux, Louisiana, Sidney was known for his sharp wit, contagious laughter, and love for fishing.

Sidney leaves behind a loving family, including his three children Jessica Terry, Belinda Mars, and Sidney Perio Jr. His parents, Sidney and Grace Perio, raised him to be the kind-hearted and humorous person we all knew and loved.

Sidney graduated from Thibodaux High School in 1979, where he excelled in his studies and always found time to make his classmates laugh. After school, he pursued a career in fishing, spending countless hours out on the water, whether the fish were biting or not.

Although Sidney may no longer be with us, his memory lives on through his family and the countless stories of his antics and jokes. We know that wherever he is now, he's probably telling the angels some fishy tales and making them laugh just as he did here on Earth.
