Sila Wiles, age 52, passed away peacefully on July 15th at home, in the presence of her loving family. She was born on June 13th, 1967 in Seoul, Korea.

Sila grew up in New Smyrna Beach, FL and loved the ocean. She attended Florida State University where she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Child Psychology. She continued her studies and achieved her Masters in Counseling from Troy State University. She influenced many in the community through her self-less, devoted, and passionate drive for life. She was a loving mother, a dedicated teacher and an exceptional mentor to all. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed creating memories with family and friends, traveling to new destinations and long walks on the beach.

Sila is survived by her husband Kurt, daughter Lauren, son Brad, mother Libbi Schauwecker, sister Barbara Hohmann, and brother Dylan Schauwecker.
