Simon Montez1922-2016Simon Montez, 94, passed away on Tuesday the 4th of October. He was born on the 5th of January in San Benito, TX. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Mary; both parents; 6 brothers; 3 sisters and daughter Modesta. He is survived by his 5 children and their families; sons Simon, Joe and wife Dalia and Frank and wife Chayo; daughters Irma and husband Gilberto and Susie; 16 grandkids; 36 great-grandkids; and numerous nephews and nieces. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Forest Park East Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow in Forest Park East Cemetery.
