Sinceer Aaznawk Etienne 32 affectionately known as Shack by his grandmother and Aaz by his dad was born January 23, 1992, in Chicago Illinois to mother Sandra Woods and father Romeo Etienne.
His father Romeo, grandparents Pearlie, James, & Marthe, also his Mother-in-law Rolanda preceded him in death.
He accepted Christ at Living Word Christian center at 14. He came back to Christ during his last 6 months.
He attended, Eugene Field Elementary, Chicago Math & Science, & later graduated from Armstrong Elementary School then Uplift Community High School. He made many friends along the way.
Sinceer met the love of his life Octavia Bradford in the summer of 2011. They became one in marriage on May 20, 2016.
Sinceer had a passion for music and art & always encouraged people even in all he was going through he was still making his visitors laugh.
He was friendly, lighthearted, and free-spirited. Having fought & survived childhood cancer with the greatest positive attitude. He was our hero. This time around he still fought hard, as hard as he could, but his body had to rest.
He made his transition on March 19, 2024, at 7:33am leaving pain behind for God's peace. He leaves behind his wife Octavia & his mother Sandra who was right by her son’s side taking care of him until the very end.
His grandfathers Jean & Jessie; his sisters Martina, Jessica, Ana Kaona, Cypher, Lyric, & Roya. Brothers Dessalines, Wisdom, Knowlege, & Yarom. Sisters-in-love Emma, Kyla, & Yolanda, & Brother-in-love Olyian. Aunts Lisa (James), Natacha (Jean), Nadiege,Deborah, & Jessica, Uncles Mario, Schmid (Verneccia), Jean Claude(Deniese)
He had a special relationship with his nieces and nephews. He was the
fun uncle to Olivia, Leo, Miracle, Egypt, Royalty, and Princeton. He
couldn't wait to meet his new niece and nephew Apollo & Athena.
He loved hard & he was loved hard. You would often catch him singing
“I give love to all of my people” the chorus to one of his favorite songs. He lived that!
He will be missed by many including a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, & friends.
