Sol Rivera Flores, 74, of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away on September 1, 2020. Daughter of the late Buenaventura Flores and Mercedes Rivera, born in Calancuasan Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija, Philippines on August 19, 1946. Sol was a devoted 2nd grade teacher at Tenajeros Elementary School in Malabon City. Sol immigrated to the United States in 1982, where she became a small business owner of Julia’s Alterations with her siblings and also dedicated 27 years to the United States Postal Service. Sol was preceded in death by her siblings Gil Flores, Romeo Flores and Elsa Flores Delo. Sol is survived by her 3 children Eilleen Rosario Johnson, Emmanuel Flores Rosario and Lara Jean Gomez, her grandchildren Jacinda, Malena, Jayden, Jordan, Gabriel, Samuel, Elijah, Chloe, Emmanuel Jr and Everly Rose, and her siblings Consuelo Flores, Lilia Padua and Rudy Flores.
