It is with a heavy heart we bid a farewell to Solae Velez, infant daughter of Joycemari Massa and Lester Velez Lopez, who was born sleeping on May 18th , 2023 at 12:25pm. Born at 23 weeks, she weighed 10 ounces and was 9.8 inches long. Although Solae never spent any time with us on earth, she was very loved and touched so many lives. Our little angel won’t ever be forgotten. Sometimes, it’s the smallest things that take up the most room in our hearts.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sisters Sophia Velez-Pérez and Ailani Velez; Maternal Grandparents - Melissa Luna and Alexis Massa; Paternal Grandparents - Nancy Lopez-Rivera and Lester Velez-Alicea and many aunts and uncles.

Joycemari and Lester would like to personally thank nurse Victoria for her love and compassion during a very tough time. We will forever be grateful.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Turner Syndrome foundation in Solaes memory.

There will be no services held.
