Sonia Bernadette Baca, 46, a lifetime resident of Las Vegas passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 at her home.She was born on Jan. 18, 1966, in Las Vegas to Ernest James Baca and Mary Jane Romero.She was a fun and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend. She was extremely selfless, nurturing, a friend and mentor to many and her doors were always open to anyone in need. She was a lifelong Catholic and attended Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas.She is survived by her sons and daughter: Adrian D. Montoya and girlfriend Misty Maes, Roberta Montoya, and Adam Montoya; granddaughter: Athena J. Montoya; mother: Jane Apodaca and husband Max; sister: Cassandra Lucero; brother: Ronnie J. Baca and wife Tina all of Las Vegas; nieces: Leona Lucero and Racheal Lucero; nephews: Isaac Maes, Isaiah Baca, and Brandon Baca; great-niece: Affinity Archuleta; numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.Rosary devotional service will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas.Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with Father Douglas Mitchell as celebrant.
