Sonia H. Moody, 45, died on Friday, June 12, 2009 in San Diego, California. Sonia was born on May 26, 1964 in Ft. Yuma, California. She was a devoted homemaker and she loved being around her family. She actively attended the Ft. Yuma United Methodist Church. She attended San Pasqual and then later she obtained her GED. She was a wonderful mother and wife and always wanted the best for her children. Sonia is survived by her husband, Randall K. Moody Jr.; her sons, Frank, Richard, Greg, Michael, Zachery, Randall Moody III, her daughters, Alice, Rosa, Anita, Winter, and Sky; her father, Willard Golding Sr.; her brothers, Lyman Golding and Wendlen Golding Sr.; her sister, Toni Golding; ten grandchildren; and numerous cousins, uncles, aunties, nephews, nieces, and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Barley Golding; her sisters, Helena Golding and Michelle Golding; brothers, Johnny Hernandez, Malcolm Golding and Willard Golding Jr.; grandparents, James Barley and Rosalie Thomas Barley; and grandmother, Edna Wilbur Golding. Viewing will be held at Funeraria del Angel on Friday, June 19, 2009 at 1 p.m. Church service will follow at 3 p.m. with tribal rites at Ft. Yuma Big House at 5 p.m. Final resting place will be at Ft. Yuma Reservation. Pallbearers are Deshane Taylor, Rydell Taylor, Bruce Montague, Lionel Montague, Timothy Williams, and Angel Koteen.
