Sonny Emmanuel passed away on September 1, 2025, in Taylor, Pennsylvania at the age of 88.

He was born on January 3, 1937, to Lewis and Tonya Emmanuel. Sonny is survived by his loving partner, Mary Emmanuel, his two children, Josh and Tameka Emmanuel, and three adoring grandchildren.

Sonny had a passion for reading and could often be found with his nose buried in a book. He had a sharp wit and contagious laughter that could brighten anyone's day.

Sonny fought a courageous battle with cancer, never losing his sense of humor or positive outlook on life.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Rest in peace, Sonny Emmanuel. You will always be remembered fondly.
