Sonny Tucker, 70Muncie - Muncie - Sonny Tucker, 70, passed away Saturday morning, June 24, 2017, at his residence.He was born on February 3, 1947 in Muncie the son of John and Aliene (Wells) Tucker and graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1966.Sonny owned and operated Midwest Auto & Truck Accessories and Midstate Auto.He was a member of the American Legion Post #353 Farmland and was an avid restorer and collector of old cars and deep sea fishing.Surviving are his wife, Jocelyne; five children, Wendy Doty, Muncie, Brooke Kozak, Muncie, Rachelle Tucker, Muncie, Carvin Mafutau, Muncie, and Mina Tank, Taos, NM; nine grandchildren; a sister, Nancy Segal, Los Angeles, CA; a brother, Jon Brett Tucker (wife, Sydia), Lake Worth, FL; several nieces, nephews, and close friends including Mike Rost and Bobby "Bucket Bob" Smith.He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Amy Tucker; and a sister, Sherry Tucker.Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017, at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel with Mike Rost officiating.
