Spencer Watson, a beloved member of the Pascagoula community, passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 28. Born on June 1, 1996, Spencer was known for his kind heart and infectious smile. He had a passion for helping others and always went out of his way to make those around him feel loved and appreciated. Spencer will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of compassion and kindness will live on in the hearts of those he touched. Rest in peace, Spencer. Your memory will forever be cherished.Spencer was a member of the Lighthouse Church of the Apostolic raith, and grew up actively participating in youth and church activities. His love of music played a key role in his life, and his favorite spiritual was "Come on in the House". He fervently embraced life and believed in making every moment count. During vacation outings and family gatherings, he was always the life of the party, Spencer loved photo shots and was known for capturing memories that will forever leave his imprint in our lives.
Spencer was an honor graduate of Pascagoula High School Class of
2014. Upon graduation, his eagerness to serve others led him to join the US Army Reserve in August 2015. His pursuit of employment began at the tender age of 16. His work history includes KFC, Wendy's, Amazon, FedEx, and welder at Huntington-Ingalls Shipyard.
Spencer was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.D. Watson, Cora Watson, and Joseph Sherrod ;cousin, TyKeem Lett; godparents, Irvin and Ora Dee Richardson; uncle, Therone Watson, and aunts; Jeanette Green and Bobby Jean Tolbert.
