Spencer “Spence” Allen Morris, 66, passed away on March 15, 2021 at home in Apache Junction, AZ surrounded by loved ones. He was born March 16, 1954 in Chicago Heights, IL and spent his childhood on Maple Street in Matteson, IL and his youth on Hillcrest Drive in Beecher, IL. Spence decided to call Arizona his home in the summer of 1976 when he moved to Phoenix and later years finally settled in Apache Junction, AZ.
Spence worked in Construction for many years. He was a member of the Chicago Heights Labor Union Local 272 and also a part of the Moose Lodge where he enjoyed many years of bowling with his dad..
Spencer loved spending time with family and friends, showing off his prized photo album to everyone he’d meet. Displaying these images made him smile with pride as he would tell about the stories of his youth. Spence enjoyed his muscle cars. He loved driving around and detailing his vehicles, loved music, going to concerts, fishing, camping, playing horseshoes, barbecuing, watching NASCAR, spending time with his brother, Doug and morning coffees with his sister, Bev.
Spencer was always kind, good-hearted and helpful. He would always volunteer and lend a helping hand without being asked and would do so without expecting payment. He always liked to look good and smell even better. Spencer was a “Harley Davidson Cowboy”, always with a cowboy hat, wallet on a chain, his watch, and a pack of smokes in his shirt pocket. There was also a sensitive side to Spencer and he loved to reminisce about his sister, Barb, who passed way too early. He treasured his memories and photos and kept unusual keepsakes that meant the world to him. He was a tough fighter and such a loving brother and will be missed more than words can say.
Spencer was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Jane (Clouse) Morris and James Edward Morris, his sister, Barbara Jo (Morris) Baker, daughter, Tina Jaimes, his grandparents, Ida Mae (Wright) Morris and James Leonard Morris, Anna Marie (McCormack) Clouse and Daniel S. Clouse.

I believe 'em when they say you're in a better place
You had a wild side but you had amazing grace
I know you're way off up in them clouds
But if you can still hear me right now...
I don't know if the other side's ready or not, ...
... it ain't right but if you gotta be there
I hope you hit those gold streets on two wheels
I hope your mansion in the sky's got a ten-acre field
With some mud and some hubs you can lock in
Make some thunder, make 'em wonder how you got in
Hide your beer, hide your clear from the man upstairs
Crank it loud, hold it down till I get there
And when I do I hope you got some new stories to tell...
...it ain't right, man, it ain't fair
I'll see you again
But till then, give heaven some hell
