Spencer G. Montgomery1946 - 2014Spencer Montgomery, 68, of Kenosha passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014, at his home surrounded by his loving family.Spencer was born on July 17, 1946, in Kenosha, the son of the late Spencer and Elnor (Smith) Montgomery. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Spencer was a member of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Vietnam Era. Spencer married Diane Moeller on Sept. 28, 1991, in Kenosha. He was employed as a Semi-Truck Driver, worked at Kenosha Beef as a Safety Director, and drove school bus throughout the years. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, gambling, and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Diane Montgomery of Kenosha; a daughter, Lisa (William) Koenes of Kenosha; his four legged baby, Buddy; a brother, Mark (Colleen) Montgomery of Kenosha; a sister, Wendy (Howard) Collins of Minnesota; three grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, and Zachary; and his sister-in-laws, Judi (John) Musser of Kenosha, Joan Moeller of Nevada. Spencer was preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Montgomery, and a brother-in-law, Frank Fonte.Spencers family would like to thank Dr. David Knight, the Cancer Center Staff, and Wheaton Franciscan Hospice, especially, Barb Prasser for all of the care that was provided.Funeral services were private.
