Beloved

Spencer Rae Grigsby, 31, passed on March 19, 2022. She was born to Sheldon Grigsby and Nancy (Reiger) Grigsby in Mesa, Arizona on May 04, 1990.

Spencer graduated from Desert Ridge High School in 2008. After high school, her goal was to become a special education teacher. She had the opportunity to work as a paraprofessional at an elementary school in Gilbert, Arizona. She loved children, and was particularly drawn to children with special needs. She worked as a waitress for several years as she continued her education. She later moved to Indiana and then to Washington State where she found she had a knack for cooking. During that time in Washington, Spencer lived with her older sister Alexys Rycki and brother in law Stephen Rycki. She then moved to Georgia where she met her fiance, Judge Womack. Even though their time together was very short, they loved each other dearly and she loved his four children; Dixie, Zowie, Sophie and Slate.

Spencer is the youngest of three daughters. Her oldest sister Alexys (Grigsby) Rycki, married to Stephen Rycki and middle sister Stormie (Grigsby) Bledsoe married to Gregory Bledsoe. Auntie to four nephews and two nieces; Malaki Lewis(16), Bella Bledsoe(16), Noah Bledsoe(15), Lyla Lewis(14), Marshall Rycki(3) and Levi Bledsoe(2). Although Spencer, not having any children of her own, loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. She would have walked through fire for them. Her absence will be felt for a lifetime, but we cherish the time we had with her while she was on this earth.

Some of her favorite things to do involved cooking, hiking, camping, outdoor adventures, listening to music, time shared with friends and loved ones, watching movies, reading comic books and she loved her dog Kaya. Kaya was a beloved companion of Spenny's and stayed by her side, until the very end.

Spencer Rae will be missed by all who knew her. She was kind, loving, generous, loyal and precious. Dear to our hearts forever and always. We mourn, but we know she is SAFE in the arms of Jesus.

You can to the family or in memory of Spencer Grigsby.
