Spencer Roderick GravesMay 11, 1963 - November 26, 2013Pingree, passed away at his home, due to natural causes, on November 26, 2013. Spencer was born on a US Air Base in Eureux, France on May 11, 1963. He had the distinction of having a French birth certificate, American citizenship, and was also a British subject, courtesy of his mother. At three years of age he wondered why he couldn't speak French. This sense of humor and the ability to laugh at himself served him well over the years. He lived in many parts of the world but his teen years spent in England with Grandpa were his happiest times. He attended ISU School of Technology where he received a bachelor's degree in Telecommunications.Unfortunately, he discovered he had inherited a neuropathy, Charcot Marie Tooth disease, from his father Dr. Jack Graves, who preceded his son in death in February of this year. As this disease progressed he became unable to work.He was an avid Seahawks fan and had just enjoyed his first game in Seattle. He knew the Super Bowl would belong to his team this year. He was a professional Yahtzee player and loved to win, but was a sore loser. He spent his last years enjoying his koi pond and his four little Westies in Pingree. Spencer is survived by his mother, Hilary (Jim) Green, of Pingree, his loving companion Kerry Baker, of Pocatello, and several cousins, uncles, and aunts in England.Spencer requested no service be held and his ashes are going home to England to be close to family. Arrangements are under the care of the Hawker Funeral Home and condolences may be sent to the family at [email protected].
