Stacey was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished sister, and dear friend to many. She will be remembered for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering loyalty to those she held dear. Stacey touched the lives of everyone she met with her warmth and compassion.
Stacey Hatchett-Cleveland, was born on November 1, 1965, in Jackson, Mississippi. She was the second child and first daughter of Linnell and Bertha Singleton. At the age of 10 Stacey committed her life to God and dedicated all her love to him. At 15 she painted her first prized painting after she noticed God had blessed her with a beautiful talent. At 18 Stacey graduated from Jim Hill high school and attended college at Alcorn State University where she met the love of her life Cedric Cleveland. From their union she gained a bonus daughter Latecia. And a year later she welcome her sun Norlandus into the world. 2 years later they welcomed her mini me Jaleisha to the world
Throughout her life, Stacey was dedicated to her family and community. She was a pillar of strength and support for her loved ones, always willing to lend a listening ear or a helping hand. Stacey's generosity knew no bounds, and she gave selflessly to those in need. She was a dedicated AKA and EasternStar that did many things to the community she loved.
Stacey was a talented artist and found solace in expressing herself through her paintings. Her creativity and passion for art inspired all who knew her, and her work will continue to bring joy and beauty to the world. She peacefully departed from this world on November 25, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.
Stacey leaves behind her beloved husband Cedric Cleveland, her two tokens of love, Jaleisha (Moe) Mosley and Norlandus Cleveland of Jackson, Ms., her beautiful bonus daughter she gained by marriage Latecia Cleveland, her only grandchild Tyler David Isaiah Cleveland, her special friend Simone Hatchett, and a large extended family who will forever cherish her memory. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Although we mourn the loss of Stacey, we take comfort in knowing that she is at peace and reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she touched.
Rest in peace, dear Stacey. You will always be remembered and loved.
