RACINE - Stanley Carl Johnson was born on December 20, 1953 to the late Bobbie Martin (Miller) and Milton Johnson in Union County Mississippi. Stanley was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 19, 2013. Stanley gave his life over to Christ at a young age and attended Second Missionary Baptist Church and was an active member until his departure with God. Stanley attended Washington Park High School of Racine, WI and graduated in 1973. He went on to study at Milwaukee Area Tech College and earned an Associate's Degree. He went on to work for American Motors (Chrysler) for many years. He left American Motors and then went into business for himself as "Stan's Heating and Cooling" where he really showed his bright and vibrant personality to everyone who encountered him. In his spare time he loved to go fishing, hunting and spending time with his grand-daughter. Stanley was a strong independent man. Through all of his trials and tribulations and health issues, he did not complain. Even through the tough days he still had a great sense of humor. Stanley fought a good fight to the end. Stanley will leave to cherish his memories; his sons, Carl Pickett- Johnson and Dwight Johnson; his daughter, LaQuita Johnson; grand-daughter, Aalyiah Sanchez; brother, Orlando (Tornia) Wilson; Niece, Trinsha; Nephews, Orlando Jr., Jaquarius, Orlanzo and Isaac; his only surviving aunt, Betsy Lee Johnson-Miller with a host of other relatives, cousins and special friends. Stanley was preceded in death by his mother, Bobbie Martin (Miller) and grandparents Bobbie and Annie Miller. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 1250 Lathrop Ave, Racine, WI 53405. Viewing 10am; Funeral 11am.
