Stanley F. Zebrowski, 91, of Springville, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2014, at Geisinger South, Wilkes Barre, after a brief illness. His wife of 56 years, Mary M. (Banko) Zebrowski, predeceased him.He was born on July 5, 1922, in Duryea, to the late Barney and Stephania (Zoarski) Zebrowski. He is survived by his daughter, Rosemary Zebrowski, Seneca Falls, N.Y.; two sisters, Edna Michael, Ithaca, N.Y., and Helen Grick, Montrose; nieces and nephews.Stanley loved his hobby of creating beautiful items out of stone to sell and give away; these included clocks, lamps, tables, lamps, coasters, and various other knick knacks. He was a member of St. Joachim's Church, Meshoppen. Stanley was a WW II Army veteran, landing on the beaches of Normandy during the D-Day invasion. He was well loved by his neighbors and friends.A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, May 23, 2014 at St. Joachim's Church, with Rev. Joseph Manarchuck, officiating. Interment in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Auburn Twp. Visitation was held Thursday evening at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, Montrose. Donations in Stanley's name can be made to the .
