Stefan Chrzanowski, "Craz" , born in Hartford, CT, passed away on November 4th, 2016 surrounded by his fiancée, stepchildren and grandchildren. Stefan was born on September 3, 1956 in Hartford, CT. He graduated Rocky Hill High School in 1974 and soon after attended Danzig Culinary School. In 1984, he was named Elk of the Year. Stefan was a member of the Rocky Hill Fire Department and also retired from the State of CT VA Hospital. Stefan is predeceased by his Father Anthony, Mother Alice, and Brother Jan. He is survived by his Fiancée Angela Hinkel of Somers, CT. Stepchildren Matthew Hoskin and Grissel Colon of Windsor Locks, CT, Jason and Danielle Mastorakis of Chicopee, MA, Maggie, Selena, Jacob, Dylan and Cameron Hinkel of Somers, CT and three grandchildren Landin and Cayden Shaw of Chicopee, MA, Abryana Quiles of Windsor Locks, CT. Stefan is also survived Toni-Ann Golec of Wethersfield, CT, a niece Amy of Texas and a nephew John of New York. A celebration of Stefan's life will be held on Saturday, November 26th from 4pm to 8pm at Living Waters Church, 200 Spring St., Windsor Locks, CT. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in his name to Yale New Haven Cancer Center.
