Stella E. TomsonZANESVILLE: Stella E. Tomson 96 of Zanesville passed away on January 31, 2016 at the Kindred Nursing Home. Stella was born on August 28, 1919 in Zanesville to the late Walter J. and Helen R. Wojcik Jalbirzkowski. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, playing and winning Eucher, and was a Cincinnati Reds baseball fan. Stella was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church.Surviving are: her son, Mark (Beth) Tomson of Baltimore, OH, and daughter, Marleen (Dave) Ingram of Newark; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon E. Tomson; daughter, Elaine Joseph; brothers, Joseph Ambrose, and Charles Jalbirzkowski, a sister Jennie Jalbirzkowski. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 8:00PM with a Prayer Vigil at 7:30PM on Wednesday February 3, 2016 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 West Military Road Zanesville, Ohio 43701. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday February 4, 2016 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Father Ty Tomson officiating.
