DUBEN, Stella Mary It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loving mother and grandmother, Stella who passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 18, 2017. She was born on August 19, 1927 in Georgetown, British Guiana. Stella was predeceased by her husband, Steve Duben, Sr. and will be lovingly remembered by her companion, Joe Kedmenec. She is survived by her children, Steve (Annette), Albert (Ivis) and Michael; her three grandsons, Stefan (Janna), Adam (Abi) and Tyson; her darling great-grand-daughter, Stella Marie; her sister, Gloria Ouwejan; brother, Albert Rodrigues (Louise), and numerous nieces and nephews that loved her dearly. She will be greatly missed by many extended family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. James Stockdill and his team. We so appreciate their kindness, excellent care and compassion. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Parish, 2060 Haultain, Oak Bay at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2017. Funeral Mass with a reception to follow in the Church Hall will be held at St. Patrick's at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 24, 2017. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallgardens.com
