Stephanie “Sala” Wilson Brandon, 74, of Beltsville, MD departed from this earth Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at United Medical Center in Washington, DC with her son by her side. She was born on September 24, 1949 in New York City and was gifted to the late Robert and late Geraldine Wilson. She lived and graduated from schools in East Orange, New Jersey. 

Stephanie took her last breath just in time to meet her husband Cliffton “Red” Brandon before their 48th wedding anniversary which was the very next day. Red and Stephanie were married on January 31, 1976. And under this union, they created their only son, C.C. The family of three eventually turned into four when Karla Brandon joined their circle to make the family complete. 

Stephanie worked for AT&T which changed to Lucent Technologies for many of years and this is where she retired. After retirement, Stephanie enjoyed playing games online, eating and lying on the phone. She also loved caring for her nephew and great nieces (Bam, Deja and Jasmine). 

Stephanie is survived by her son, Cliffton “C.C.” Brandon II. And she has three sisters in laws, Phyllis Nelson (Von), Nancy Carey, and Sonja Jenkins; she has a godson, Marquis Freeman and a host of nieces and nephews as well as many other relatives and friends. Stephanie also had a special cousin, Patricia Coleman, where they loved to hang out, cook, eat and play cards. 

A memorial service will be held on February 17, 2024 at 11:00 am located at Found and Sons Funeral Home, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407 with Reverend Sandra Chew officiating.
