Stephanie Thompson 55, died Saturday, April 04 2020

She was born to the late Donald and Patricia Hitt, May 04 1963, in Clarksburg Wv. Stephanie graduated from Bridgeport High School and received a BA in English from the University of Georgia. She married the late Howard Thompson  and they lived together Clarksburg WV. Stephanie was a high school English teacher until she retired in 2003 and was passionate about making a difference in the lives of her students.

Stephanie was an active member of First Baptist Church. She loved to travel, and took 20 cruise trips with her husband in her lifetime.

Stephanieis survived by her two children ; Jessica Love of Dallas Tx and Joseph Thompson of Clarksburg Wv. She also is survived by 4 grandchildren 


A viewing will be held at 11 am Friday at Davis Funeral Home. Burial will be held at 1 p.m
