Stephanie Lynn Quimby 1979-2016Stephanie Lynn Quimby passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016. Memorial services will be held at Christ Church United Methodist Church in the Woodlands, TX. on December 13 at 11 am.Stephanie was born on October 18, 1979 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Annette and Larry Quimby. Stephanie lived in multiple locations in Texas, Louisiana, and Switzerland and traveled extensively throughout her life.She graduated from high school at The American School in Leysin, Switzerland. She continued her education earning a bachelors degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Tex. She taught at The Woodlands High School and The Woodlands Christian Academy. She later completed a M.S. degree from University of Houston's Conrad Hilton College of Hotel & Restaurant Management as well as a J.D. in Law from the same university. She was an active member and alumni of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority.Stephanie loved her family, friends, life, travel and cultures, and always had time to help others. With a quick wit, she brought a realistic perspective to all matters. She is greatly missed.Stephanie is survived by her parents, two brothers; Scott Quimby of Montgomery, Texas and David Quimby of Hershey, Pennsylvania, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins around the country. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff, nurses and physicians at Memorial Hermann Hospital in The Woodland for their kind and superb care over the last two weeks.In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX in her name.
