Stephen Douglas Shepperd, 30, of Buffalo, passed away on August 22, 2018 in the United States Penitentiary in Terre Haute. 

Stephen was born in Buffalo, Indiana to Douglas and Michelle Shepperd on May 13, 1988. He went to school at Pioneer Jr/Sr High School in Royal Center. Stephen worked as a landscaper for Lawncrafters Lawn Care before being incarcerated in 2016. Stephen loved to be outside on the grill, spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, among other nature activities. 

Stephen is preceded in death by his mother, Michelle Shepperd; his father, Douglas Shepperd; and his cousin, Thomas Lytle Jr. and is survived by his sisters, Nicole Pugh and Stefanie Skelton 

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Monday, August 27, 2018 at Harrison - Metzger & Rans Funeral Home in Royal Center.
