LAKE WALES, Fla. — Steve Swift, 46, of Lake Wales, Florida, died on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at his home. He was born on April 19, 1968, in Angola, Indiana, and was a 1986 graduate of Hamilton High School in Indiana. Steve was an accomplished woodworker and excelled in extreme sports. He has been an independent software developer for 20 years. He was of the Methodist faith. Steve is survived by his mother, Elaine "Bunny" Radcliff and her husband, Larry, of Lake Wales; his father, Steve Swift and his wife, Marilyn, of Sebring, Florida; a son, Nathan Swift of Colorado; three sisters, Suzette Prettyman–MacInnis of John's Creek, Georgia, LeeAnne Swift of Atlanta, Georgia, and Camilla Radcliff of Bloomington, Illinois; a niece, Paige Prettyman; and two nephews, Brooks Prettyman and Clint Prettyman. A celebration of Steve's life will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2015, at 1 p.m. at the Lake Ashton Golf Club Ballroom. Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Wales is in charge of arrangements.
