Steven Adams TozierNaples, FLSteven Adams Tozier, 65, of Naples, FL formerly of Somers, beloved husband of Denise (Lee) Tozier passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2017, at Brigham and Womens. He was born on May 7, 1951, in Bangor, Maine; son of the late Maurice and Marion (Adams) Tozier. Steven retired in 1996 as a Warden from the State of Connecticut Department of Corrections after 22 years of dedicated service. After retirement he proudly worked as a Privacy Supervisor for Wyndemere Home Owners Association whom was like a second family to him. He was an avid sports fan especially basketball; Steve enjoyed playing, coaching, and watching basketball. He was a fan of the New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox, and UCONN. In addition to his wife Denise, he is survived by four children, Lori Toombs of Coventry, Steve Tozier and his wife Kristin of Stafford, Amy Saada and her husband Hussam of South Windsor and Ethan Tozier of Naples, FL; the magnificent seven grandchildren, Andrew, Adam, Aiden, Hannah, Dylan, Colin, and Landon; a brother, Richard Tozier and his wife Delores of Lenox, MA; a sister Sue Ann Buck and her husband Rich of Estero, FL; an aunt Mary Jane Tozier; an uncle Charlie Tozier and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Somers Funeral Home, 354 Main Street (Route 190), Somers, CT. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
