Klaes, StevenSteven Edward Klaes, age 73 of Mayville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.Steve was born on December 27, 1943 in LaCrosse. He was adopted by Edward & Lorraine Klaes. In 1962 he graduated from Regis High School. On February 15, 2005 he got his credential of ministry from Universal Life Church. Steve was an inventor, creator and a man of many titles; such as an auto body technician and radio DJ in his early years. He enjoyed telling stories of his colorful and exciting life to his friends and family. Steve was happiest talking about planes and fast cars. He had a big heart for animals and often generously donated to Special Olympics. Steve will be undoubtedly remembered for his jokes and ability to make people laugh.Steven is survived by Liz Engh; daughters, Gabrielle (Tyler) Strook and Ashley Klaes; a son, Jason Reiter.Preceded in death by his parents.Visitation for Steven will be from 3:00 P.M. until the time of service on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 West Main Street, Waupun.A memorial service for Steven will be at 5:30 P.M. on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Kohls Community Funeral Home with Rev.
