Steven Dale Threadgill Aug. 8, 1970 ~ Dec. 10, 2016 Talladega, AL Mr. Steven Dale Threadgill, 46 of Talladega, AL, passed away on Saturday, December 10th. Steven was born on August 28, 1970 in Gulfport, MS, the youngest of six children to George J. and Ruby E. Threadgill. He grew up in Long Beach with his family, and being the youngest, he became the prankster of the crew. He loved the outdoors, playing baseball as a young boy, and also became an avid hunter and fisherman. Steven enjoyed working with his hands, and made a career as a carpenter. He continued hunting and fishing, but also enjoyed racing pigeons. He will be remembered as a kind and loving son, brother, and father, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Steven is survived by his twin boys, Shannon Joseph Threadgill of Houston, TX, and Richard Chase Threadgill of Nashville, TN; his loving mother, Ruby E. Threadgill of McHenry, MS; his siblings, one sister, Diane Dye (Dewey) of McHenry, and three brothers, Tim Threadgill (Faye) and Ricky Threadgill (Julie), both of McHenry, and George J, Threadgill, Jr. (Rosemary) of Saucier, MS. Steven was preceded in death by his infant son, Steven Dale Jr.; his father, George J. Threadgill; his maternal grandparents, Victor & Pearl Lassabe; and his paternal grandparents, D.G. and Addie Threadgill. Steve was cremated, and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17th at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 PM, followed by his funeral service at 3:00 PM. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to assist the Threadgill family in their time of need.
