It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven Wayne Ellis, a beloved member of the Ellis Family of Richmond, VA and the Long Family, also of Richmond, VA. Steve grew up in Monmouth County, NJ. Steve was known for his vibrant and generous spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He had a passion for coaching kids during his 40 plus years in Gwinnett County, GA and spent countless hours coaching Baseball, Youth Football, girls Softball and Basketball and Boys Youth Basketball, becoming affectionately known as Coach Steve. Steve will be remembered as a wonderful Son, Brother, Husband, Grandfather, and Cherished Father. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Marian Long Ellis, his Father, Nathaniel Gilbert Ellis, Jr., and Son, Dustin Nathaniel Ellis.

He is survived by his Daughter, Raina Michelle Ellis, Grandson, Kane Edward Snider, Granddaughter Kaylee Nicole Ellis Biggs, Brothers Larry Ellis, David Ellis, Brian Ellis, Sister Deborah Ellis Steelman, Stepmother Pat Ellis, Stepsister Annette xxxxxx, and xxxxxxx.
