Mr. Stillman Parham, Jr., of 16164 Tyler Lane, Stony Creek, Va., was called home peacefully, from the said residence to be with the Lord. Early on the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016, he heeded God's call.Mr. Parham was a native of Sussex County born on June 6, 1948, to the late Anna Elizabeth and Stillman Parham, Sr.He joined First Baptist Church of Jarratt, Va., at an early age. He attended schools in Sussex County. Stillman Jr. affectionately known as "June" farmed all of his life until his health declined.He was known as the master of farming and loved the job he did. He was always willing to teach others the trade of farming and no one could mix chemicals and prepare for planting like he could. Whenever there was a problem the farmers knew who to call. He was a wonderful and kind-hearted man who loved and cared for all. He was loved by many and will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.He was preceded in death by two loving parents, Stillman Parham, Sr. and Anna Elizabeth Parham; brother, Roy Glenard Parham, Sr. and a son, Kendrick L. Mallory.He leaves to cherish his precious memory a loving and devoted wife and friend of 46 years, Janet Patricia Mason-Parham; out of that union they introduced to the world four loving and devoted children, Latanya Parham-Ampey (Alvin) of Stony Creek, Va., Chris Parham and Erica Parham-Thorne (Clinton) both of Petersburg, Va., and Eric Parham (Natasha) of Dinwiddie, Va.; grandchildren, Latonya Chandler, Sedarius and Jamel Ampey all of Stony Creek, Va., Kris Parham and Tariq Parham of Dinwiddie, Va., Kendrick Mallory, Jr. of Hopewell, Va., TriShauna and Trevel Thorne, Omarion and Christina Parham all of Petersburg, Va., Jasmine Stith-Thomas, Jalen and Jada Perez of Dinwiddie, Va.; great grandchildren, Darnell Billups, Jr. of Stony Creek, Va., Trimari and Kyrie McNair of Petersburg, Va.; two sisters, Sharean Denease Perry who was very devoted of North Chesterfield, Va., and Malinda Blowe of Petersburg, Va.; three brothers, Terry Blowe (Fatuma) of Richmond, Va., Ernest and Ronald Blowe; sisters-in-law, Anita Parham of Oklahoma City, OK, Gracie Dabney and Thomasine Mason both of Petersburg, Va.; brothers-in-law, Raymond Mason, Heath Mason and Clifton Mason all of Petersburg, Va.; aunts, Marie Tyler and Ethel Edwards of Stony Creek, Va., Vernell Flanders of North Carolina, Esterline Starks, and Dorothy Moore both of New York, and Evelyn Klugh (Melvin) of Woodbridge, Va.; uncles, Wayne Parham (Kathy), Wendell Parham (Loretha), William Parham and Langston Hill all of Petersburg, Va.; three devoted friends, Bruce Robinson and Jerome Robinson of Dinwiddie and James Taylor of Stony Creek, Va., and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Services for Mr. Stillman Parham, Jr. will be held 3 p.m., Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, at First Baptist Church, 18463 Little Mill Road, Jarratt, Va., the Rev. George R.
