Susan E. Hahn
We are deeply saddened by the unexpected loss of Susan Elizabeth Hahn, 69, on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. She was the light in our lives, always showing unconditional love and compassion to family and friends. Many people were touched by her unforgettable zest for life and humor, for which we are forever grateful.
Sue was born in Toledo, Ohio, in 1951 to parents Frederick and Edith Hahn. She had immense love for her daughter, Kimberly, granddaughter, Genna, and son-in-law, Jason. She was a constant in their lives. She is also survived by brothers, Ronald, Thomas and Robert; nieces, Amy, Jennifer and Jessica; nephew Kevin; and close friend, Kevin.
Sue was a creative and free spirit with a great sense of humor. Friends and family remember her joy in making people laugh. Her compassion for others and love was endless and without judgement. She loved adventure and constantly strived to fulfill her dreams.
One goal she achieved was to become an accomplished artist. She loved art as a young girl, and she evolved into a skilled watercolor artist and mastered various techniques. She opened an art studio in Albuquerque and filled it with breathtaking southwest landscapes and quaint Old Town sceneries, many of which she displayed on her website to sell.
Sue was also a talented commercial artist, working for Owens-Illinois Technical Center in Toledo and Tech Reps in Albuquerque. She studied computer-aided design (CAD) at CNM and received her Associates degree. Applying these skills, she freelanced for Southwest Liner Systems and had a position with an international aviation licensing business, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Sue was a mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt and friend. She touched our lives with her loving spirit, which will remain forever in our hearts.
