Mrs. Susan Elizabeth Harper Brown, age 55, of West Point, died on November 22, 2013, at the West Georgia Health.
Mrs. Brown was born on November 26, 1957, in Valley, Alabama, to Albert Lanier Harper, Sr. and Sandra Ann Rice Harper. She was a homemaker for most of her life, caring for the needs of her family. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Howard Arthur (Butch) Brown of West Point; sons, William Howard Brown and his wife Jeanette of Pine Mountain and Andrew Lanier Brown and his wife Crystal of LaGrange; daughter, Elizabeth Hope Brown-Wood of LaGrange; brother, Albert Lanier Harper, Jr. and his wife Teresa of LaGrange; sisters, Priscilla Ann St. Pierre and her husband Kenneth of Newnan and Diana Lynn Owens and her husband Scott of Texas; grandchildren, Joseph Brown, Kimberly (Kimmy) Brown, Joshua Brown, Kirsten Brown, Destiny Chancey, Carly Brown and Cassidy Brown; mother in law, Peggy Brown of West Point; brother in law, William Christopher Brown of West Point; numerous nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 25th at 3:00 pm at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel with Ministers Alex Montgomery and Steve Evans officiating. Interment will follow at the Meadoway Gardens. Family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
