Susan K. Gomez1956 2014Susan K. Gomez nee: Swiatko, 57, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Friday, Feb. 7, 2014 at St. Catherines Hospital.She was born on August 23, 1956 to the late Francis E. Bob and Bernida Bunny (Bowman) Briggs in Kenosha. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Tremper High School in 1974. She graduated from Gateway Technical College as an LPN.On May 26, 2005, she married Luis C. Gomez in Las Vegas, Nev.Sue worked as an LPN for Kenosha Memorial Hospital, Tri-Clover and Snap-On Tools. She also worked at nursing homes.Sue was a former member of Jobs Daughters and a member of the Eastern Star.Sue was an avid Packer fan, she enjoyed motorcycle riding, golfing, playing piano, puzzles, video and computer games, loved the sun, the outdoors, rock-n-roll music, going to concerts and musicals. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.Sue is survived by her husband, Luis; her children, Le Ann (Terry) Butwil and Robert (Janelle) Swiatko both of Kenosha; her grandchildren, Tyler Van Boven, Belia Gomez, Teigan Gomez, Taryn Gomez and Landon Willenbring; and her siblings, Marian (Dale) Alleman of Kenosha, Arleen (Roger) Wermeling of Kenosha and William (Bonnie) Briggs of Safety Harbor, Fla.A sister Nadine Bishop nee:Dietz precedes her in death.A Celebration of Life for Sue will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 6 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home.
