Susan Marie Steiert passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 to enter the golden gates of heaven. She was born on September 13, 1954. to Bill and Norma Steiert who preceded her in death. Susan attended Immaculate Conception School for 8 years and graduated from Yuma High School and received her cosmetology license from Yuma School of Beauty in 1972. Susan had many talents. She worked as a beautician and worked at Gray Beverage for many years until she became pregnant with her first child Lori and decided she wanted to be a stay at home mom. One year later she gave birth to her son Richie which completed her family. Susan loved family time camping, in Laguna Mountains, going to the beach in San Diego and even going fishing in Yuma! Once the children were older she went to work for AEA Federal Credit union until she could no longer work due to her illness. She was blessed with the birth of her grandson Trace Adam Martinez who brought great joy and happiness to her. Susan is survived by her daughter, Lori (Victor) Herrera; son, Richard Lineberry; sisters, Kathy (Terry) Newcomb, Debra Larson; grandson, Trace Martinez; nieces, Allison Vidal and Kristi Ramirez; great nieces Hannah Vidal and Kaili Ramirez; great nephews, Cain Vidal and Marcus Ramirez and friend to the end Richard Lineberry Sr. Visitation will be Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Johnson Mortuary from 5pm to 9pm. Rosary will begin at7pm. Graveside services will be Friday, November 16, 2012 at 10am at Desert lawn Memorial. Pallbearers will be Richard Lineberry Sr., Richard Lineberry Jr., Terry Newcomb, Corey Zack, Chris McGinnis and Larry Muñoz. Special thanks to Bernie Bedoya for your devoted support and friendship. Celebration of life will be at American Legion Post 19 from 11am to 3pm.
