Susan May Baumann Wittrock, 60, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on March 13, 2023. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on May 20, 1962, and adopted by her parents Dwight and Mavis Baumann shortly thereafter.
Susan graduated high school at Winchester Thurston in Pittsburgh, PA and attended Gordon College in Wenham, MA.
She married Kinton Wittrock in 1992 and they lived together in Beverly, Massachusetts, Ashley, North Dakota, and all around the Lake of the Ozarks, until finally settling down in Gravois Mills, Missouri. Together they raised 2 children Jacob Wittrock (Mandi Dryer), Jonah Wittrock (Abbey Wittrock). She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, whom she surrounded herself with as often as she had the chance!
Susan started working at CALO in 2008 and was incredibly passionate about creating the most positive change possible in both the students there, as well as her coworkers. It is also here that she took on the name "Mama Sue", a name that truly embodied what she meant to so many people.
She was a youth leader at Calvary Chapel Lake Ozark for many years, and gained notoriety for her game show hosting capabilities, as well as her pranks but, most importantly, she was known for being somebody that you could confide in. Those that confided in her would also be prayed for for the rest of Susi's life.
A celebration of life service will be held in honor of Susan at Calvary Lake Ozark, 3271 Osage Acres Rd, Kaiser, MO 65047 on Saturday, March 25th at 11:00 AM CST.
