Susie F. Miller age 62, of Dorothy, NH, formerly a long-time resident of Marshall Tx, Was called home by the Lord on 05/13/2018.

Susie was born on March 30, 1956, raised in Marshall, Tx.  Susie later moved to Dallas TX. At age 18 yrs old.

Susie married the love of her life, James T. Roland in 1967. The couple settled in South Oak Cliff in the where they raised their three children; Gwen Lashonda and Lisa.

Susie spent more than 15 years in South Oak Cliff before relocating to West Dallas 10 years ago to be closer to her family.

Susie was a dedicated and hard worker.  She worked many years before retiring.

Susie was a devoted and loving mother.  She was very proud of her family and was excited to become a “Grammy” to her 5 grandchildren.  Susie loved holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her.  She would spend hours cooking and preparing for her company.

Susie was known for her feisty, yet good sense of humor.  She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Bernadette was the beloved wife of the late James T. Rowland, devoted mother of Gwen Thomas, Lashonda Bullock, Lisa & her husband Tim all of Nashua, and the late Brian Rowland, loving “Siblings and grandchildren” of Travis Allen, Brandon Edward, Trisha Elliott, Meagan Russell, Andrew Joseph, Shelia Thomas, Kole Timothy. Rayeosha Thomas, Dede Thomas,Azaria Mornes  Bernadette was also very special to Timmy Patno & his wife Sara of Pepperell.

Family and friends will gather at the Golden Gate Funeral 

on Friday, May 18, 2018, for Visitation from 11:00-1:00 at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224 immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m.  Interment will follow in  Laurel Land Cemetery.
