Syilva Lee Wallace, 75, passed on January 30, 2022. She was born to James Evans and Sarah Lee Taylor in Little Rock, Arkansas on March 17, 1946.

She married Willie Wallace in 1965 and they lived together in Long Beach, California. Together they raised 4 children Demetria Wallace-Hendrix (Melvin Hendrix ), Denisha Wallace, Robert Wallace, Cherida wallace. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren.

Syilva worked at President Long Beach Unified School District until she retired in 2009 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.
