We are saddened to announce the passing of Sylvene Moseley, who departed from this world on October 4, 2024, in San Diego, California. She was born on March 8, 1944, to her parents Joe and Su Moseley.

Sylvene is survived by her two loving children, Louis Brown Jr. and Howard Moseley, along with their spouses. She was also a cherished grandmother to three grandchildren, Jayden Brown, Kaylah Mosley, & Little Louis.

Sylvene attended Mt. Carmel High School and graduated in the class of 1962. She went on to become a dedicated school teacher, sharing her passion for education with her students until her retirement in 1999.

Outside of her professional life, Sylvene had a talent for painting and found joy in creating beautiful works of art. Her creative spirit and warm heart will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

May Sylvene rest in peace, surrounded by the memories of a life well-lived and the love of those she touched along the way.
