We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Sylvester Moore, who was born on May 14, 1965, in Selma, Alabama, to Charlie and Louise Moore. He passed away on December 21, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Sylvester was known for his kind and gentle nature. He always had a smile on his face and a helping hand extended to those in need. He had a passion for life and lived each day to the fullest.
Throughout his life, Sylvester touched the hearts of everyone around him. Whether it was through his work, his humor, or his unwavering kindness, he left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Those who were fortunate enough to be close to Sylvester knew him as a dedicated family man. He cherished his time spent with his loved ones and always put their needs before his own. His family meant everything to him, and his memory will forever live on in their hearts.
As we mourn the loss of Sylvester, let us also celebrate the life he lived and the love he shared with those around him. He may be gone, but his spirit will continue to inspire us all. Sylvester leaves behind his beloved children, Cedric Forts (spouse Janine Forts) and Quentin Forts. He was a loving grandfather to three grandchildren Cassidy Taraji and Taylar he was a dedicated father and grandfather, always putting his family first.
Sylvester attended Wilcox High School and furthered his education at Wallace Community College. He pursued a career as a Diesel Mechanic, where he found fulfillment in his work. In his free time, Sylvester enjoyed working on cars, a hobby he was passionate about.
Sylvester will be remembered for his kind heart, hardworking nature, and love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
