Nickerson , Tabitha "Tabby" HelenTabitha "Tabby" Helen Nickerson, 26, passed away on June 17, 2017, in the company of her father and brothers at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT. Tabby left this life too soon due to complications related to type 1 diabetes, a disease she had suffered from since childhood. Tabby was born on August 8, 1990 and grew up in Interlaken, NY. She attended South Seneca Central Schools and graduated from the Broad Horizons Academy in Elmira, NY in 2009. Most recently, Tabby had been residing in Seneca Falls.Tabby was predeceased by her mother, Kelly Nickerson. She is survived by a son; her father, Timothy Nickerson; brothers, Robby (Abby) Hollister and Kevin Nickerson (Kristy Barone); grandparents William and Janice Austic; and her aunts, Diane Austic and Shannon Austic.Tabby's final act was to give the gift of life through organ donation.A private service will be held for family.
